Angelica Ruiz

I’m Maria Angelica Ruiz, a hairstylist and makeup artist with over 13 years of experience in the beauty industry. I’m originally from Ecuador, and my journey with beauty and art has taken me across the world from Buenos Aires to Vancouver, and now, New York City.

Since moving to NYC, I’ve fallen completely in love with the city’s fashion, culture, and individuality. Outside the salon, I’m also an artist, singer, dancer, and actress - so creativity is at the heart of everything I do.

I specialize in Makeup and Balayage, and I’ve had the joy of working on fashion weeks in Buenos Aires, collaborating with high couture designers, seeing my work in Joy TV in Vancouver, and supporting beauty pageants like Miss World Canada. I also had the amazing experience of owning my own salon back in Ecuador, where I had the opportunity to work with magazines and local celebrities.
